The New Approach to Nonprofit Email Marketing

The e-newsletter is dead.
Here is what you should be doing instead…

Take everything you were going to publish in your newsletter,
all the reports, updates, news, and coming events,
and turn them into stories.

But your e-newsletter is full of stories, you say?

Great, you have a head start.
But DO NOT send out those stories in an e-newsletter.

I’ll tell you what you are going to do instead, but let me come back to that in a minute.

Make sure you are telling really good stories.
The stories that get your audience invested emotionally in what you are saying.

This is extremely important.
You need to make sure your stories are told in a way that makes the reader FEEL something.

If you are telling stories that get your readers to feel genuine emotion about the work you do and the beneficiaries you help then you will get their attention and they will be primed to take action.

But it is not enough to just get their attention.
You have to KEEP their attention.

And here is where this new approach to nonprofit email marketing really shines.
You are going to tell stories that leave them excited to receive the next email.

How do you do that!?

You are going to tell stories using the same structure that Hollywood writers use to write great movies.
You are going to tell stories that use the same tactics as your favorite TV shows.

The only difference will be that your stories are TRUE.

You will tell your true stories and introduce your heroes and villains.
You will tell your stories of conflict and tension.

And you will leave them begging for the next email so that they can continue to hear your stories.

They will actually start looking forward to your next email.
They will be excited to hear the next episode of your story.
They will take to social media to talk with everyone about what is happening in your emails.

Think about it.

What would you rather read?

An e-newsletter, filled with block content that takes an hour and a half to read, word after word after word, devoid of any emotion, simply stating facts and then asking for money…

Or…

A single story that respects your limited time,
is filled with emotion, leaves you hanging on every word
and makes you wonder what will happen next?

If you said you’d rather read a newsletter then, please, close this browser.

I can’t help you.

But, if you truly, honestly believe that telling great stories would be far better than sending your antiquated e-newsletter, then I want to help you.

You see, I’ve spent that last few years testing and perfecting this approach for nonprofit email marketing.

There are right and wrong ways to do this.
If not done right, your readers will not be hooked and then they won’t care about your stories.

It will be as useless as your e-newsletter.

I can teach you the exact approach I use to turn your email marketing into an exciting storyline that engages your readers and turns them into lifelong supporters of your organization.

I can provide you with step-by-step guidelines on exactly what to do and how to do it.

Once you learn this system you will find that email marketing is a lot of fun.
Especially when you master this approach.

It does take work upfront, but what I will teach you results in an automated email marketing system.

This means that you only need to build it once.
It is a true fix it and forget it solution.

Think about that for a minute.
Once this system is in place your nonprofit email marketing will run on auto-pilot.

Of course, you may still need to send out an occasional blast email to provide updates or announce coming events, but every other aspect of your email marketing will take care of itself.

This will free you up to work on all of the other responsibilities that fall on your shoulders.
All-the-while knowing that your email marketing is bringing in new prospects and turning them into life-long supporters.

To help you get a better sense of what this looks like and how it all comes together,
I’ve prepared a road map for you, a cheat sheet of sorts, that lays out the exact process you should take to implement this approach.

And I am going to give it to you completely free of charge.
